Here’s a nice little Holga video done by Humanoid of Myspace. It’s a snapshot montage of Holga pics taken during the 2008 VW Convention in Brisbane, Australia. I like the vignetting effect on the video, a nice little touch and an homage to our beloved Holga. The music is “Driving In My Car” by the ska band Madness. Cool stuff!

Loading ...Here’s a very good example of what you can achieve with a little imagination and creativity. According to the maker of the video he used a Sony DCR-VX2100 Camcorder and just placed Kodak film in front of the lens and zoomed in. In case your wondering, the footage was taken in Scotland and York, England. The Smiths’ “This Charming Man” is a nice touch also. This is one of my favorites!

I’m particularly glad he wasn’t too concerned with scratching the lens, as it adds to the mystique of these toy cameras. Thompson gives some basic tips for Holga users, going over how to cover light leaks with black electrical tape and the best way to load film into a Holga.
